I know he doesn't have much parts in this movie, but it's still spectaculair.

I am in love with the movie ending and it is a big part for Carmine too. It's a major scene between Kevin Costner's and Carmine's characters Chapel and Strout. One of them is gonna win and it's either the new rookie or the legend and it could have been both ways. It must have been have been a big part for Carmine who wasn't known very well back then.

His butt is perfect to wear baseball trousers and he may wear more of them and often too Wink There is also something else, but this is a family board.

I'm not normally a fan of baseball movies, but I saw this without even realizing that Carmine was in it. This was about 4 years ago and I wasn't the fangirl that I am today. Laughing So, when they showed Carmine standing in the hall, talking to Kevin Costner, I said,"I know that guy!". I rushed to IMDB and found out that it was our guy. Smile

The movie itself was good. You have this aging pitcher who is pitching a shutout in what would become his final game. Another movie with flashbacks, but they weren't annoying. Great cast and who could hate Kevin Costner?

I thought it was kind of cute, even if the movie was a little long for my liking. But again, it's a Kevin Costner film. I got it down to a bit of science and say if you have the DVD, fast forward to about 15 minutes in and then watch the last 15 minutes... That's about where Carmine is shown. You don't miss too much else, unless you want to see the whole movie. Laughing It isn't a bad movie though.

Carmine in a baseball uni... Carmine at bat... Yup! The man is total hotness and I'm so, so, so happy that he has the acting chops to back it up. I see he's batting right, so it's safe to assume he's a righty. (I saw someone ask that once, somewhere, sometime ago.)

I love sport movies well... some of them Wink

That's what I did I went to the right spots with Carmine first cause I wanted to see him mostly and was like I watch the whole movie a other time. I have seen the movie on telly before, but I can't remember a thing from it tho. Embarassed I'm a total airhead sometimes. Neutral

You think this movie is long with Kevin Costner? Check out the movie JFK with him and you'll be singing a different tune Razz

I didn't noticed if Carmine was batting right or left Embarassed I did notice a different thing, but that's a different story and not to be told on here. Embarassed

My grandads cousin was in films in that time, she played in a lot of silent movies, she was also in a few Alfred Hitchcock films, one was called Champagne, she was known as the best silent movie stars in that time! They wanted her to go to Hollywood, but she was never interested and stayed doing English, French and German films! Mad women!! lol

I could see him doing a film with gangsters or something! Very Happy

I never heard of that movie, but then Alfred Hitchcock's movies are pretty scary esp. Birds Shocked

I still would love to see him in a musical esp. west side story Razz

I hate that film 'birds' but i hate birds anyway! lol

Thank god she wasnt in that!! lol She kind of reminds me of Carmine, she did acting and films, cos she loved doing it, not for the fame or the money, hence why she wasnt interested in Hollywood, even though she was famous etc and didnt need Hollywood, but i admirier her and im proud of her for that!

I could see him doing that, that would make a change to all the other things that he has done!
