I've decided that I'm done with this debate for a little while... It's not like the writers of the show are going to listen to little ol' me. So, I'm off of that debate for a bit.

I still love Carmine and will always support his career in every way. I'm not quitting on CSI: NY though. I'm just going to ride out this hurricane. If I have it my way, Danny gets some action and gives Lindsay the "I like you, but this was a horrible mistake" speech. You never know.

Not really down-hearted. Just kind of defeated. It's going to happen anyway. I just sincerely don't care for this particular storyline and I just love Carmine's acting too much to see it, in my opinion, floundering in it. I'm a fan of his acting. His acting is never lost on me and when I don't see where I'm going to have an opportunity to see another stellar performance from him, I guess I'm troubled.

Maybe next episode he'll go nuts on a murderer in interrogation and I'll be back to my normal self. Until then, I'm done upsetting the D/L lovers by stomping my feet over hating where this storyline has gone. I still have my DVD's to remember what great material he used to get...

The action he gets with her would make me puke my guts out, but I would cheer like a insane person if he gave her that speech. I like that idea actually

I wish the writers would write a good part for Carmine again. Where he can show the world his amazing acting talent again. I don't care if it is for 30 seconds even, but Carmine has so much talent and he can get any acting scene down with the talent he has.

Just look at the interiogation scene in bad beat with the creepy camera dude, which had my jaw dropped by how amazing that interiogation was when it was aired here.

I’ve been watching CSI: NY from the beginig, and to be honest, Vanessa got my sympathys (why did she left btw?!), and when she left and „Montana“ camed i was sooooo.. i dnt know.... she’s not the one for the leadnig part of Denny’s girl. Maybe I’m wrong, cuz I’ve just seen 1st season cuz my „nice“ country just started with the show (after las vegas and miami).... but time will show me. I totally agree with Leta about L character and i really wanna thank to Dorka for giving us this chance....

yeah I liked vanessa more but I think anna (or lindsay) is doing her part pretty good too... I mean she had to go into a crew which already know eatch other... and I also think... okay the sarah/greg thing in CSI:LV is in the background but I wished it would be more important... and CSI:NY is a tv show and not any movie there's a background situation too and in NY it's the lovestory between danny and lindsay and I'm okay with that... if you watch for example crossing jordan which is also a forensic tv show you have a background sitatuation also... so to my mind the idea the writers had was pretty good... the only negative thing I can find there is that make a too big deal about the whole thing.. I mean more than one season... in a "normal" tv show they already would already have a realtionship.. that's what I don't like but I like the general idea of having a lovestory in the whole serie

I know I said I was done, but I'm just wondering what it is about the character that make people root for her so? I'm not seeing the dynamic between she and Danny that warrant this great love affair. I couldn't agree more with you and I'm just like you. I also don't feel the love for Lindsay Monroe and don't see the chemistry she has with Danny neither. I feel like the whole story is a waste of time and the writers are probably also obsessed with it.

Leta, i dont get the 'Danny/Lindsay thing either!! Theres no chemistry whats so ever between these charactars at all!! Aiden was more suited to Danny and i really miss her being in it. I havent watched anything that Anna has been in, so i cant comment on her acting.

I just find it quite embarressing to watch sometimes, i have to say!! I love all the CSI's and love watching forensic shows, but this 'love saga' is getting a bit much!!

The Danny Messer i saw from season one, is not the Danny Messer we see now! what has he had a personality transplant or something?!! Its nice to see a softer side to Danny, but come on, a man doesnt change that much!!

I know its only a tv show, but if they want the viewers to stay, then they are gonna have to change the the storyline, cos im really getting bored of it now, which is a shame! I will keep watching it, but im slowly losing interest!! SO PLEASE WRITERS BRING THE DANNY MESSER BACK THAT WE LOVE!! lol

Im not moaning to the 'Danny/Lindsay' fans, you have every right to love them. I watched a little bit with them in the court room, which was a lovely moment, but i just think its getting a bit much thats all. xx

My sentiments exactly! They are going to lose viewers--in fact, I know of some people who have quit watching the show b/c of it. If anything, if they are going to keep it in the show-despite numerous protests-they should keep it in the background and not let it be the main focus....

Thanks peanut....Its a shame that they are already losing viewers, it was such a great show at the begining and still is, but that just goes to show, that they have to start listening to fans more and take note on what we are saying, otherwise i could see CSI:NY losing ratings really quickly and that would be such a shame for all the cast, they're brilliant actors, who work so hard to make the show as great as it is.

The show still has great potential to be one of the best tv shows on at the moment, but if they continue doing what they are doing, it will be end up being forgotten!

They need to put the Danny/Lindsay thing in to the background, and put their minds in writing the main thing of the show which is 'forensic'. They also should answer the fans questions about Louie and if he is still alive or not?

Oh, and they need give us a good Danny centred episode in which Carmine's excellent acting talent is shown again.

i have to say, i am a massive D/L shipper (as if ya didn't know, right?! ) so where should i start..... lol

OK, so i agree with having the 'old Danny messer' back.. i think he had so much fire and aggression in him that it was really nailbiting, and exciting especially when he clashed with Mac. But i guess TPTB jus want to take the character progression to another level, and give Danny some sorta 'happiness' in the form of getting with Lindsay. Yeah , the ol' Danny would probably have taken Nixon - or one of the other suicide gals up on that offer, had Lindsay not been around.
I think its Great that Danny and Lindsay are getting together (judging by Ep 18 ) personally, even tho alot of people think otherwise. It must be a good thing for this to happen, other wise CSI:NY wouldn't be winning its slot everyweek lol

Obviously the actors are happy to play their roles, and they obviously know what the future episodes are, in order for them to take their characters in a certain direction. Im sure if they weren't happy they would say something,

its weird because, while Mac and Peyton "kinda" keep their relationship in the background, i dont see alot - if any- chemistry between them...in the same way i guess some people don't see DL's chemistry.

I don't think one here has outright said that Anna Belknap isn't a good actress. I think that's more from the Talkcsi board. Anna Belknap is okay, as Lindsay. Not spectacular. Just okay.

Maybe since Lindsay is 'free' to date Danny, I'll try to give her a chance. Maybe things will get better. Wishful thinking & fatigue are not a good mix But so help me, if she sucks... I'm done.

I think you have to write each relationship differently, of course. I just don't care for the immaturity they have placed over Danny and Lindsay's relationship. That's what I think most people don't care for.
