i haven't got a clue what to ask him. my mind is blank but i really want to submit a question.

yeah that's the same with me.. I thought about asking him whether he'll release an own cd but I think in one of the interviews he mentioned that so it's not worth to take a question in this project but over here in germany we don't get any news of carmine or whatever of CSI:NY so I know only less things.... but I really think of a question that's worth to ask it with that project

I sent the last question out right after I got the new one. It all depends on how busy he is... so I don't really know when to expect the next one.

That was my problem too. I couldn't think of a question to ask him. I kept throwing out questions that I'd think he'd think I was dumb to ask. That's not saying that it's what you thought. I just got over it and asked one question.

After that, the questions kept rolling. I'm sure that after you send that first question in. you're going to think of even more. And wouldn't it be a trip to come online one day and see that he thought enough of your question to answer it?

Just go for it.

Trust me, you won't sound like an idiot. I participated in the "Make sure Carmine's not lonely anymore" fan book, except I didn't utilize my page as a single's ad. I just told him about where I live and a couple places that were relaxing and pretty much stalkerazzi-free. Of course, they're by the Pacific Ocean, where you can watch the waves. Oh yeah, did I mention I found out after the fact the man has an ocean phobia!!! Now I'm sure he thinks I'M the freakin' moron!!! :headdesk: :headdesk:

Its weird actually cos i have a fear of the ocean, i have no idea why, but its scares the crap out of me, especially at night. Ive always been scared of it since we used to go to Paris by ferry, i know its only the English Channel, but we would always come back at night and everyone would stand outside. I thought it was just me being stupid!! I didnt know that about him! You always learn something new on here!! lol

i'm usually pretty good at conversation, but i feel like i'm trying to come up with a good thesis for a Ph.D.


i should have my question in a couple months.
give or take a year.

hopefully asking a question will still be an option by the time i figure this out.

Don't worry about it, Carmine fixx! I'm sure as long as you don't go too stalkerish or personal the question will be fine. I'll fill you in on what I submitted. Of course, I did have full-blown "I'm such an idiot for asking that!" panic attacks after hitting the submit button, but hey, I'm still living.*

I asked Carmine what books he likes to read in his down-time. It's not glitzy or glamorous, but hey, it'd be nice to know what makes him tick.

I also worked up the nerve to ask him another question: What was it like to meet former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld? (Rumsfeld was still SecDef when he paid a visit to the NY set to thank Gary Sinise for all his USO work.) I know a lot of you don't like Rummy for recent events, but the man had a storied career before becoming SecDef for President Bush. He's a political icon for me.

Some fans that are a little more, shall we say, "die-hard" joke about asking if he needs a personal assistant or stylist. Hey, anything to give the man an entourage.
