As of June 7, 2007, I have received less than 10 submissions for the birthday scrapbook. I know it's still early, but time is creeping up fast. I need to know who is going to submit something? This is a definate submission, not a maybe. I'm only asking, because at this point, I've had tons of people say they're sending something off yesterday, and a week or so has passed, and nothing has arrived. I guess what I'm getting at is this.... if I don't get many submission for this years project, it will probably be the last. I know it's still early - but a month from now, when I still don't have anything, then it's going to make me wonder if it's a waste of time. I'm putting a lot of my own time and money into this - not to mention buying a P.O. Box (under my friends name, since I didn't have I.D. on me @ the time of purchase) to receive the submissions. I just need to know that this is worth it and people are actually sending something. So please, let me know here. Thanks!

^ Don't worry. The man has a lot of devoted fans. I'm impressed that you've received 10 submissions at this point. His birthday is still a long way away and people tend to procrastinate. I'm sure he'll see plenty of fangirl love though. Buck up, people will participate.

I realize there's still time - but 2 months really isn't a lot of time, if you think about it. It just makes me nervous because last year @ this time I had a lot more submissions already - and it just makes me wonder if people are going to send something or not. I'm just a pessimist and always expect the worse. Forgive me if I get crazy. LOL. I just want this book to be full of beautiful postcards from his amazing fans!

Well, as far as I'm concerned I won't be able to send anything before July, I'm just too busy right now to come up with anything decent.

This said, I leave for New York on July 15th so I'm debating whether or not I should wait a little longer and send it from there...

I'm interested in sending a postcard, but I just can't think of anything fascinating about New Jersey and I'd send along. That's just plain weird because we have a ton of stuff going on here, but I just can't think of one.

I like 'The Shore', but... just not good enough. I still have the find the perfect one... but I'll definately get it in before the deadline.
