Thanks to that lovely strike, I (we) have been privy to repeats, until they roll out the new stuff. I’m under the impression that a few of you have seen the episodes at least twice. Well, I have… Just a few questions:
-What is your impression of the season thus far?
-What storyline, at this point, was the best?
-What storyline, at this point, was the worst?
-Who would you want to see more of, character-wise?
-Which scene was your favorite?
-Which was your least favorite scene?
-What would you like to see happen once the season continues?
-What wouldn’t you want to see?
Since I posed these questions, I may as well answer them.
And as I'm commenting on episodes that I've seen twice all ready, there may/will be spoilage...
-This season got off to a pretty good start. You can’t shake the imagery of the Statue of Liberty with blood all over it. The storyline of the revengeful lover wasn’t bad either. It was nice to see the whole team work together on one case too.
-My favorite storyline was the Rueben story. The guest stars were wonderful and made you feel the connection between them. What really set it over was, of course, Our Guy. Such a brilliant performance from Carmine.
-Least favorite storyline goes to the 333 storyline. Not because it was dragged out. That was the continuity that I want from CSI:NY. What made it bad to me was the usage of Stella. If you wanted to get back at Mac for something that happened, don’t use Stella. They have touched upon the love-interest thing for her before and he was a psycho. If you’re going to throw her a bone, let it be the real thing, not some wacko.
-Hawkes! He’s has a few good scenes, but for a guy to have won an Image Award for his portrayal of a character on Primetime TV, you’d think the guy would get more action. I love when Hawkes gets to be out in the field and working with Danny. Before I heard about Lindsay showing up, I thought they had great potential as the second team to Mac and Stella. Hawkes is being robbed and we need more of him.
-My favorite scene wasn’t funny at all. It was the scene where Danny went to the church after Rueben was killed. There were no words needed and you could just feel the angst and sadness through the tv. That was my favorite scene this season, only second to Danny stopping that subway car…
-Least favorite scene was Hawkes and Danny swimming underwater. Not because it was a terrible scene, but because I couldn’t see it very well. There was action going on underwater, but I didn’t think the murkiness of the water helped me to like the scene. But, I did like when Danny joked with Hawkes, after he had to save Hawkes. That ‘first kiss’ line was cute.
-More Adam and more of Hawkes working out in the field. Resolution to the Louie mystery… Is he or isn’t he? Even a mention of his name is great to hear.
-Less Kendall is appreciated. She’s a pretty girl, but she adds nothing to the show for me. If they’re going to keep Lindsay in the lab, as they had much this season, then there’s no need for Kendall. If I’m going to be bored over an explanation about the origin of a piano wire, I’d rather it be from Lindsay.
That's all I can think of right now though.

I love the internet.... I'm getting a kick over being 'plagerized' on the internet. I'm loving it that things I type over here are used by other people, on other boards. It goes to my head after a while. BTW, the 'Our Guy' comment is a reference from Shasta McNasty. Alas, a head cold has the better of me and I'm rushing to get over it as I have a wedding to get to.
