I see what you're saying. Gary's fans aren't denigrated as "Lt. Dan" fans; we're respected for embracing his entire work portfolio. I think it stems from the fact that Carmine and other actors don't get the respect they deserve or that they've earned. It's easy for the entertainment machine to give short shrift to an actor if you devalue his/her fanbase in place of actually giving proper consideration to said actor's works.

I often write "Letters to the Editor," but nothing gives that rush like the first letter. Also, when I was in Journalism class, one of our assignments was to write a letter to a national publication. I was printed in Newsweek, but I can't remember what topic or what year. Laughing

Also, I used to submit articles for an industry publication, and nothing beat the feel of being published. Plus, my car was featured in photos, both as a whole and broken down into parts. Now that was cool. Very Happy

I'm still here!!!

Today is my first day off in about....2 months...something like that. And it's only because it snowed today and my intersession class was cancelled (no cause for celebration...I still have to make the day up. I'm supposed to be finished Wednesday...and now I have to go until Thursday).

And so...after seeing this little bit of information...I went out and bought the TV guide (accidently buying the wrong one, then hounding the grocery store until the next one arrived). Congratulations on the publication Smile

. And cheers to you for saying what everyone should be thinking by now.

And after a little bit of going back and forth (in my head, of course), I settle on buying The Learning Curve and Fallen Arches from Amazon.com (oh, and, because this was a revelation to me and I basqued in the glory for about 3 days afterwards---they make CSI:NY books (I went to the CSI exhibit at the science museum and they had ONE left. I bee-lined for it. (Just thought I'd relive my moment for everyone... Wink

anyways...)

I've gotten Fallen Arches already...and still...even 8 some odd years ago...still pulling amazing acting off. And as luck would have it...Billy's Hollywood Screen Kiss was on later that night....hysterical. (I finally heard him sing that song too!). I loved the red high socks...
